Letter from Albert Edward [Prince of Wales](Marlborough House [London]) to Lady Randolph Churchill in which he comments on a letter which she has written in response to his advice about her marriage [to George Cornwallis-West], asserts that he has "said nothing behind your back that I have not said to your face" and urges her to think carefully.

Letter from Arthur [Bigge, later Lord Stamfordham, Private Secretary to Queen Victoria](Castle Blayney, Ireland) to Lady Randolph Churchill in which he says that he hopes that her marriage to George Cornwallis-West will be happy, that he hopes that their age difference will not be commented on and says that he will present the matter to the Queen "in its proper light".

Letter from [Albert Edward, Prince of Wales] (Marlborough Club, Pall Mall [London]) to [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which he thanks her for her letter, says that he has been to see [Princess Charles of Denmark], urges her to consider [her marriage to George Cornwallis West] carefully as he warns "you will find your position a very different one from what it has been". Envelope present.

Letter from [Albert Edward, Prince of Wales](Schloss Friedrichshof, Cronberg, Taunus [Germany]) to [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which he says that he is glad that she is feeling better, that he hopes that she is feeling "more sensible", and discusses his objections to her proposed marriage [to George Cornwallis West]. Envelope present.

Letter from [Albert Edward, Prince of Wales](Balmoral) to [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which he says that he is glad that she has decided not to marry her "young man" [George Cornwallis West], discusses their friendship and her description of him as a "fair weather friend" and says that he would like to see her. Envelope sealed with black wax present.

Letter from [Albert Edward, Prince of Wales](Mar Lodge, Braemar [Aberdeenshire, Scotland]) to [Lady Randolph Churchill] in which he says that he would like to see her, explaining "there are things I can only say to you". He also discusses [the breaking off of her engagement to George Cornwallis West] and WSC's appointment as correspondent to the Morning Post. Envelope sealed with black wax present.

Letter from [Lady Randolph Churchill] to [Lord Randolph Churchill] in which she discusses a letter from [John, 7th Duke of Marlborough] and the likelihood that [Lord] Blandford [later George, 8th Duke of Marlborough] will digrace the family over his quarrel with HRH [Albert Edward, Prince of Wales]; describes an "insolent and disgusting" letter from [5th Lord] Hardwicke; and asks him to return, commenting "do for Heaven's sake let's go through them [their troubles] together".

Letter from [Lady Randolph Churchill] to [Lord Randolph Churchill] in which she expresses regret about a letter she had written to him and discusses his reply to a letter from [5th Lord Hardwicke] and the possibility that [Benjamin] Disraeli [later Lord Beaconsfield and Lord Hughendon] might see Queen [Victoria about Albert Edward, Prince of Wales' quarrel with Lord Blandford, later George, 8th Duke of Marlborough].

Letter from Lord Randolph Churchill (Blenheim Palace) to "Jeannette" [Jennie Jerome, later Lady Randolph Churchill] enclosing photographs of his family [not present], saying how painful he found leaving her, that he hopes her father [Leonard Jerome] will not object [to their engagement], and that [Albert Edward] Prince [of Wales] has spoken of how much he enjoyed meeting her.

Letter from Lord Randolph Churchill (Blenheim Palace) to "Jeannette" [Jennie Jerome, later Lady Randolph Churchill] in which he suggests that she should persuade her mother [Clara Jerome] to let her write to him more often; that Albert Edward, Prince of Wales and Alexandra, Princess of Wales have spoken of how much they liked her; and that he is waiting for her father's [Leonard Jerome] response [concerning their proposed engagement].

Letter from Lord Randolph Churchill (St James' Club, Piccadilly [London]) to Jennie [later Lady Randolph Churchill] including: apologies for doubting her; a description of his illness caused by a "beastly dinner" at White's with [Albert Edward, Prince of Wales], Francis Knollys, [Frederick] Johnstone, J Delacour, [Lord] Blandford [later George, 8th Duke of Marlborough] and Percy Doyle; and an invitation to Sandringham [Norfolk].

Letter from Lord Randolph Churchill (Blenheim Palace) to Jennie [Jerome, later Lady Randolph Churchill] including: a description of the arrival of [Albert Edward, Prince of Wales]; the names of some of the guests at Blenheim; and a request that she should not go to the United States as he hopes that they can be married in April or May.
